Dr Sohail Hanif, CEO of NZF, featured on TV segment about the rising cost of living in the UK

Half of UK Muslims are living in poverty* and people in our communities are disproportionately being hit by the spiraling cost of living crisis.

 
Many individuals and families in the UK Muslim community are struggling to afford basics like food and heating. 

As part of a NewsTalk segment on Islam Channel, Dr Sohail Hanif joined a panel of guests to discuss the cost of living crisis and poverty amongst Muslims in the UK. 

He says that “it is a duty to look after each other, especially those that are near us. We’re a community organisation, and our message is  the community has to stand up now, and we have to support each other.”
