Urgent Ramadan Appeal

In the last ten days of Ramadan, National Zakat Foundation urgently needs Zakat to ensure we can help every eligible person that comes to us for support.

So many Muslims in the UK in hardship are now applying to NZF for help. Throughout Ramadan, someone has applied for financial support for themselves or their family every 15 minutes.

This year, we’ve already distributed over twice as much Zakat as we’d expected to by this time.

Thanks to local Zakat, we’ve never had to turn someone away because of a shortage of Zakat funds.

We don’t want to start now.

The need is right here, right now

Because of coronavirus, record levels of Muslims in the UK are facing poverty and hardship. In fact, the number of people applying to NZF for help has more than doubled in the last month

The opportunity is right here, right now

Momentum is building to connect Muslims across the UK through Zakat. And NZF is leading it. You can join this urgent and vital effort, by giving your Zakat locally, and being there for someone in distress.

NZF is right here, right now

We have a proven track record in handling local Zakat across the nation, getting it to Muslims in need. You can even choose how it’s used, and we’ll let you know when your Zakat reaches those in need.

More choice

You can choose how your Zakat is allocated across our three funds.

Or if you prefer, you can choose to go with our recommended allocation.

Make your Zakat 100%

We use a small portion of Zakat to fund the cost of our experienced team getting it to those in need.

But if you prefer 100% of your Zakat to go directly to those who need it, you can give a voluntary add-on of Sadaqah to cover the costs instead.

ZakaTracker

Our ZakaTracker service informs you when your Zakat has been given to help fellow Muslims and the overall impact of your chosen fund(s).

This way, you’ll never have to give Zakat again and be left wondering what happened to it.

Right here, right now, Muslims are running out of money and food.

They’re running out of hope. Please don’t let us run out of Zakat.

Give Zakat to our Emergency Appeal during the last ten days of Ramadan.

Maximum reward, maximum impact.

Where your Zakat goes

For every £1 of Zakat you gave through NZF in 2019, 87.5p was given to people in need in the UK to help change lives.

12.5p was spent on getting your Zakat directly and effectively to those people in need.

Now you can make your Zakat 100% if you choose.

No Zakat is used for running the organisation or for raising funds.
