Q: I am not a business man, I have money in the bank and bought a land with this money and my intention to resell it after 3-5 years , do I have to pay Zakat every year on it?
If your intention is to sell it after 3-5 years, that means you bought it with the intention not to sell right now. Therefore, it is not Zakatable.
