Q: I have £500 set aside to give to a charity but I will only be able to give it after Ramadhan & my zakat date is 18th Ramadhan so when I calculate my Zakat will I include the £500 or do I deduct this amount?
A: You will have to include it into your calculation as this is not a liability.
