[ARCHIVE] NZF Winter Challenge Update

The National Zakat Foundation held its first ever Winter Challenge on 22nd December 2012. Over 100 people took part in the 5 mile mystery walk across London to help raise funds to tackle fuel poverty in the UK.

One participant, Sumaiya Umm Imran took part with her whole family mash’Allah and shared her experience with us:

Jazak Allah Khair to everyone who supported the Challenge. With your help we raised over £30,000 which will go towards supporting vulnerable individuals and families with their essential food, clothing and heating requirements this winter insha’Allah.
