NZF’s Zakat distribution policy has been certified as sound by two leading UK Islamic scholarly institutions: the Islamic Shari’a Council and the Centre for Religious Rulings & Mediation.
Shaykh Dr Suhaib Hasan and Shaykh Abu Sayeed of the Islamic Shari’a Council have certified that National Zakat Foundation’s Zakat distribution policy is sound in accordance with its interpretation of Islamic Shari’a based on the four Sunni schools of thought.
Mufti Amjad Mohammed of Markaz al-Ifta’ wa’l-Qada’, the Centre for Religious Rulings & Mediation, has certified that National Zakat Foundation’s Zakat distribution policy is sound in accordance with its interpretation of Islamic Shari’a based on the Hanafi school of thought.
